Dr. Chowdhary is a clinical rheumatologist and educator. He attended the top 2 medical schools in India then practiced internal medicine for 13 years. He has specialized in rheumatology in the United States for the last 20 years. Through the years, he has developed a special interest in inflammatory Myopathy. He holds a specialized clinic in Myositis at Yale and also focuses on conditions that can cause muscle and lung inflammation like Polymyositis, Antisynthetase Syndrome and dermatomyositis. This field has become complex due to the recent detection of certain antibodies called myositis antibodies which can cause complex manifestations and heterogeneity.

Patricia is a strong proponent of education within her field. She teaches psychic development circles and mediumship courses for Milford Adult Education, Shoreline Adult Education in Branford, Trumbull Continuing Education, and Valley Regional Adult Education. She feels that everyone has certain spiritual gifts and she helps her students fine tune their abilities so they become more aware and confident.
