Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 - Pierce Campbell -- Singer / guitarist
Pierce Campbell is a highly accomplished guitarist and musician. He receives high praise for his guitar work, superb songwriting, and powerful vocals. He performs a wide range of music from Irish and American classics, to jazz, 50s, 60s, and 70s rock and roll. His voice is warm and powerful and his music covers a lot of ground from touching ballads to ragtime numbers. He entwines humor and history to create a performance that is a whole lot of fun. His performances are engaging as he jumps from guitar instrumentals to vocal ballads, to Irish sing-alongs. Pierce is a full-time musician and has released five solo CD’s. He plays throughout the Northeast at festivals, coffeehouses, Irish pubs, senior centers and libraries.


Thursday, Dec 22, 2022 - Ashly Cruz – singer / entertainer
Ashly Cruz began her musical career as a dancer in the Hartford Ballet Company, later becoming a founding member and choreographer of the Hartford Contemporary Dance Theater. A Connecticut native and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Musical Theater Department, she blends Broadway, French, Italian, Spanish and popular songs, performed cabaret style. Her music style also includes Ella Fitzgerald, Jazz and special holiday themes. She has brought a wide variety of song and dance to Foxwoods Casino and other venues. She released her first solo album titled “A Bailar” (Let’s Dance) on HOT HEAD RECORDINGS. Her first single titled “My Tango Baby” aired on ABC’s Live with Regis and Kelly. This multi-talented entertainer will bring her Cabaret Show to Calendar House for a fun and exciting afternoon.

Thursday, January 26, 2023 - Jerome Riley, former lead singer of the Platters.
Jerome and his wife Arlyse bring the music of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s with style, flair and showmanship. The Platters were one of the most successful vocal groups of the early Rock N’ Roll era. In the 80s, Jerome Riley won a lead vocalist position with Herb Reed and the Platters. Now, Jerome keeps the music of the Platters alive by performing all their classic songs. He will be entertaining us here playing the original Platters hits as well as other hit music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.


Thursday, March 30, 2023 - A Tribute to Bennett and Sinatra: John Brighenti and Lou Provenzano:
Pianist John Brighenti and vocalist Lou Provenzano will present of songs Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, two of America’s greatest entertainers.
John Brighenti is a graduate of the Hartt College of Music of the University of Hartford. He pursued musical courses in big band arranging and jazz piano techniques at the Hartford Conservatory of Music. John’s professional experiences as a pianist include performing with many orchestras, lounge groups, jazz ensembles and vocalists in the New England States, Atlanta, Phoenix, Las Vegas and cruise ships. John toured the U.S. playing piano for the Glenn Miller Orchestra under the direction of Jimmy Henderson. He has also played with numerous renowned musicians throughout the area. In Connecticut his venues have included Szechuan Tokyo Jazz Club, Cavey’s, Max Downtown, The Hartford Club, 880 Club, Trinity-On-Main, Ferme Restaurant, Foxwoods Casino, Apricot’s, New Britain Museum of Art, Max a Mia, Matthew’s, the Wadsworth Atheneum, and the Wethersfield Historical Society (among many others). He performed at Mohegan Sun Casino in the Grand Lobby and at Todd English's Tuscany Restaurant. John was selected to perform at The Baby Grand Jazz Series at the Hartford Public Library.
Lou Provenzano is a fine singer of romantic ballads who can swing with the best of them. Lou's band the Castaways performed for many years in New York and New Jersey night clubs in the 1960's including the infamous "Living Room" in East Orange owned by mob boss Angelo "Gyp" DeCarlo played by Christopher Walken in the movie "Jersey Boys". He recently returned to jazz and the Great American Songbook working with his mentor, Donn Trenner, who acts as his singing coach and musical adviser.

Comedy Rocks! When was the last time you saw or heard a rock trio that make you laugh? When was the last time you saw a comedian and got to sing along? This trio is like no other. People are saying “I haven’t laughed this much in years!” You will hear side-splitting parodies of popular songs and you will be on your feet laughing, cheering, dancing. You will hear original songs and songs you know by heart. The Jukebox boys feature a blend of music and humor. Their show is a fast-paced mix of rock parodies, comedy numbers, sing-alongs and straight up good old rock ‘n’ roll. They are the Ultimate Baby Boomer Party with exceptional entertainment and non-stop fun!

Join us for Jukebox Bingo! We have changed the way you play BINGO forever! Jukebox Bingo is a fun and interactive game that pairs the excitement of traditional bingo with your favorite music!
HOW DO YOU PLAY?
No numbers in this game, they’re gone! We have replaced the 75 numbers with 75 songs. On each bingo card there are 25 song titles and no two cards are the same. As the game begins, we play 25 seconds of a song. The player then checks their card and if the song is there, mark it off. The first one to match the bingo pattern, yells BINGO!!!! Don’t worry if you don’t know the name of the song - The song names are eventually shown on the video screen. It’s simple, fun, and free to play! PRIZES!! PRIZES!! PRIZES!!

Long time music teacher, singer, dance choreographer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Gillie and Tom Stankus offer interactive piano programs and concerts for adults and seniors. Among their repertoire are Ragtime, Boogie-Woogie, Jazz, Blues, Rock ‘n Roll, Hollywood, Broadway, swing, dance tunes and themed programs for holidays. These two musicians will tickle the keys and pound them when necessary as they sing the hits with a crisp radiance. You might even learn some cool dance moves! Whoa!

JC/DC is a duo made up of the two lead male singers from Connecticut’s premier event band who play to a wide variety of music that is enjoyed by listeners of all ages and tastes. Many tunes on their song list are Beatles, Etta James, Bobby Darrin, Elvis, Linda Ronstadt, Abba, The Four Seasons, Temptations, Billy Joel, Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Buble, and Neil Diamond to name a few! Joe Cannata plays bass guitat, acoustic guitar, and sings lead and background vocals; Dean Coutsouridis plays guitar, alto saxophone, and sings lead and background vocals. The duo utilizes the latest technology to recreate the full sound of a multi-piece band. The versatile duo is known for its clear and full sound at its performances. JC/DC has performed around the state at venues such as the Gelston House in East Haddam, Lavita Gustosa in East Haddam, Baci Grill in Cromwell, Tuscany Grill in Middletown, and the Mattabesett Canoe Club at Harbor Park in Middletown, and Water’s Edge in Westbrook. This duo will have you tapping your toes, clapping your hands and dancing in the aisles!!
