Take advantage of the paved walking path around the perimeter of our senior center! Weather permitting the walking path is available for use, but when covered with ice or snow, please stay off the path. It only takes a second to slip and fall no matter how careful you are! During bad weather check out the other available exercise programs we have including pickle-ball, ping-pong, and/or the cardio room as alternatives! The many benefits of exercise, including walking, are too long to list, but include improved blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels, increased energy and stamina, and reduction of osteoporosis risk! Exercise is a fun and easy way to do something for your health and well-being! (Please remember to ALWAYS carry a cell phone when walking on the path).
