Nurse Katie Goshdigian will be providing foot care on select Mondays in the health suite. Appointments are for 30 minutes and include basic foot assessment, nail trimming, nail filing, and filing of corns/calluses. Cost is $30 payable to the nurse via cash or check made out to Foot Care RN. Please note clients with ingrown nails, history of leg/foot ulcers and diabetics taking medication need to seek foot care with their podiatrist or primary care provider. This 45 minute practice features sound meditation with singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, accompanied by restorative yoga poses to release tension and restore balance. Let go of stress and anxiety, and emerge feeling renewed and whole!

Drop-in program. $15 to be paid directly to the instructors. | Wed Apr 22nd 2:00 PM | Calendar House Golf League Meeting The Calendar House Golf League (CHGL) will hold a registration meeting on Thursday, April 22, 2026, at 2 P.M. in the Calendar House Main Hall for anyone interested in playing 9 holes of golf on Tuesday mornings. CHGL plays at Hawks Landing, and the league is open to all members of The Calendar House and residents of Southington age 55+ looking to play golf and have fun. This is a pay-as-you-play league starting the first week of May. At the registration meeting, we will discuss pricing, rules, and the format of play. If interested, you can sign up at the Calendar House before the April 22nd meeting by seeing Liz Chubet. Give her your name, phone number, email, and the non-refundable dues payment of $50 in cash or a check payable to The Calendar House Golf League or CHGL. If you have a partner, please supply their name and phone number. We can assign a partner if needed. Additional sign-ups will occur starting at 1:30 p.m. just before the 2 p.m. meeting on April 22nd. Art Marcelynas, a former state regulator at the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), can review your bill, explain how to choose a supplier and answer questions about the Standard Service Generation Supply and rates, licensed electric suppliers, the redesigned electric bill, discounts for Hardship Customers and any question you have about Connecticut's electric rates and policies.

Art worked at PURA for 32 years and among his numerous duties was responsible for the EnergizeCT.com Rate Board. He maintained the Rate Board and also regulated licensed suppliers from 2006 until he retired in 2021. He was also involved with redesigning the Eversource and United Illuminating electric bill. As a result, he has considerable knowledge about electric rates, the energy supply market, rules surrounding switching suppliers and much more. You won't be disappointed with this presentation!!
