"NO-BAKE" BAKE SALE
THANKS for the wonderful response to the Membership Association's 11th annual "NO-BAKE" BAKE SALE. Those envelopes coming in show your support for your Senior Center!! Hurray for you!! It's still not too late, if time has slipped by, you just plain forgot or whatever--Don't miss your opportunity to support your Association without having to bake or bring in goodies. You don't even have to sacrifice your diet by purchasing and eating extra baked goods! Funds are used to help subidize special programs, events & entertainment for the coming year. Soooo...place your generous donation in the envelope please, and either mail it or drop it off at the office. And...THANKS ever so much!!! Checks should be made payable to: Calendar House Membership Association.

BULKY WASTE TRANSFER STATION
617 Old Turnpike Road - Open Saturdays from 8 am-3:00 pm, weather permitting.
For more info regarding the rules & regulations and obtaining permits, please contact the Town Clerk's office 860.276.2611 or at www.southington.org PLEASE NOTE: Permits ARE required. Permits are issued for a one year period; expiring at the end of March and MUST BE RENEWED each year. Stickers are available NOW at the Town Clerk's office.

FLU SHOT CLINIC
Plainville-Southington Regional Health District will offer influenza (flu) vaccinations at the Calendar House on Thursday, October 26th between 9 am and 11 am for any Plainville or Southington resident (4 years of age and older) or any Plainville or Southington Municipal Employee. Please bring your Insurance or Medicare Part B card. If you do not have insurance, a $20. fee will be charged for the shot. Proof of residency or Municipal employment may be requested. Consent Forms will be available at the clinic.

CHRISTMAS TREE SHOP TRIP
A shopping trip to the Christmas Tree Shop in Manchester has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2017, departing from the GRACE METHODIST CHURCH parking lot, just down Pleasant Street at the corner of Spring Lake Road, accessed from Spring Lake Road. The church is in front of Hatton School and you may park in the back of the church parking lot. Plan to be there no later than 9:00 am. Lunch at HomeTown Buffet (on your own). Return approx 2:30 pm. Cost: $5. covers transportation only. Sign up with payment in Calendar House office. Limited to approx 50 passengers.
